The Adira Network is a program that seeks to empower women with the knowledge, skills and tools to become confident, bold and wise.
The program was inspired by the fact that although women are constantly encouraged to lead, the leadership table still does not have enough women. This is because many young women aspire to be leaders, but they don’t know how to go about finding that seat, not to mention they must balance societal gender/ family responsibilities which sometimes hinder them from growing their careers.
“The reason I am passionate about women empowerment is not so that we can outsmart men or compete to be better. Neither is it so we can emancipate their manhood. On the contrary, I want to inspire women to pursue their dreams, speak and live in ways that brings equality to the table without trying to be men”.
Loise Mboo, Founder, ADIRA
